DIY Balustrade Wire - Stud System

Ready to install swageless wire cable balustrade run with metric threaded studs. Ideal for timber or steel balustrade posts.

A4 - AISI 316 stainless steel with a high polished finish offers maximum corrosion resistance.

End 1 is a rigging screw adjuster with a M8 stud, this is supplied already pre-swaged onto 4mm 1x19 stainless steel wire rope (various lengths available). Comes with locking nuts.

End 2 is a swageless DIY fitting with an M8 Stud, this can be easily attached to the blank end of the wire with basic tools (2 x spanners) - no special swage tools required.

Top tips

• Use one of our 8" steel wire rope cutters to cut the wire onsite to exact length required
• When measuring always set the rigging screw at mid open point, this allows for adjustment either way on your balustrade ( +/- ) 
• Clean once a year with a microfibre cloth and WD40
• Cut your stud to length and cap off with a M8 stainless steel dome nut and stainless steel washers
• We also sell M8 internal threaded dome nuts which would be perfect for easy installation
