For any of you planning a South American sailing adventure; be warned: after sailing the wonderfully swell-free Sea of Cortez, the waters of Pacific Mexico can come as something of an unpleasant surprise. This is somethingthe Terrapin tribe (a family of four plucky sailors) have found out on their journey through the region. From less-than-ideal anchorages, to taking rotating shifts, this is not a passage to be ill-equipped for.
